Read about eHeart's guiding principles

Our goal at eHeart is to ensure that our patients live long, healthy and fulfilling lives, free of medical problems.
We aim to make patients as fully informed as possible of any risks they may face. There is an old English proverb that sums up this attitude: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

To this end, we conduct proactive screenings to identify heart disease and risk of stroke in its earliest stages and work with patients to reduce any hidden risks identified by the diagnostic tests we performed.

For those patients who already have cardiovascular diseases or turned out to be less than fully healthy, we try to immediately meet, diagnose and treat them: when you are afraid that your life may be in danger, everything stops.

Our team works hard to be able to see patients on the same day if possible, and to provide prompt responses, so that our patients can get back to the vital mission of fully living their lives.

eHeart offers high quality specialist care. We welcome patients who have private health insurance or who choose to pay directly for their care. We strive to provide an unparalleled patient experience, both in terms of quality and timing.
Our medical team has spent most of their careers serving patients in the demanding environment of university hospitals, with many years in the emergency care industry. Our doctors have pushed the boundaries of science with their doctorates and their roles as professors and lecturers at Karolinska Institutet, where they have nurtured the next generation of experts.

Members of our team speak Swedish, English, Finnish, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Turkish and Persian which, if announced at the time of booking, usually allows us to offer care in a language our patients feel comfortable with.

An integral part of a high-quality care is the speed with which it is delivered. As a small family-owned business, we can make decisions quickly, and we continue to invest significant resources in labor and time-saving technologies to optimize the work environment and efficiency of our team. This helps ensure there are no waiting times, allowing our patients to return to their lives with confidence.

At eHeart, we strive to provide quality specialist care and an unparalleled patient experience.

We look forward to meeting you!

Historian

2016
eHeart is founded to finance and develop medical technology.
The inaugural project is EchoReporter, a software designed to support medical professionals in their analysis of ultrasound images of the heart, lungs and blood vessels.

This pioneer spirit is at the core of eHeart's DNA today.
2018
Under the leadership of Dr. Reidar Winter, eHeart begins to offer care to patients in the Stockholm region.
With its background in university hospitals, Reidar strives to combine high-quality care with the patient experience possible in a small clinic. eHeart supports other healthcare providers in the Stockholm region, including Södertälje, and begins construction of the clinic at Hötorget, Norrmalm, Stockholm. The development of EchoReporter continues.
2019—2020
eHeart invests in technology and builds a team of specialists, offering care to Stockholm County Council and private patients from its clinic in Hötorget, Norrmalm, Stockholm.
The clinic prioritizes timely care without compromising quality. In April 2020, the team switched its focus to fighting Covid-19. With funding from philanthropists, they bought antigen tests and donated services to test 12,000 healthcare workers in Stockholm.
2021
eHeart moves to Sophiahemmet in Norra Djurgården, Stockholm.
eHeart continues to serve private patients directly and also offers Sophiahemmet's other caregivers cardiac and other diagnostic services. These include highly specialized risk assessment not typically performed in public health care today, and expanded to include sleep apnea. Investments in in-house technology are accelerating to cope with these developments.
2022
eHeart is growing rapidly to meet demand from both patients and healthcare providers.
eHeart continues to invest significant resources in equipment, technology and, above all, in the team. The fact that members of the team come from so many different countries and speak Swedish, English, Finnish, Spanish, Hungarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish and Persian, illustrates the pursuit of excellent care.
2023-2024
Today, eHeart is a healthcare provider that specializes in providing advanced and high-quality care.
We welcome patients who have private health insurance or who choose to pay directly for their care. We continue to invest in time- and labor-saving technologies to enable our clinicians to spend as much time as possible doing what we're good at: caring for you.
